Victoria announced 372 new coronavirus infections and 14 more fatalities on Friday, bringing the state's death toll to 289.
Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews said the latest deaths include one man in his 20s - Australia's youngest victim of the pandemic so far - three women and two men in their 80s and four women and four men in their 90s.
Twelve of the deaths announced on Friday are linked to aged care outbreaks.
The national death toll now stands at 375 and there are 680 Australians in hospital.
